  • It’s definitely an option but we do not have any immediate plans for one.

Thank you Pippin. I watched your short and perhaps outdated YouTube video on how the DropBox extension works. I say outdated because probably you’ve updated the extension since then. So I have two questions on that please:

1 – Is it possible to upload the files directly to your DropBox first and then add the DropBox file sharing links to a Download post in EDD?

2 – Besides the DropBox and Amazon S3 extensions, do you offer any other extensions for cloud sharing type sites?

    Thank you.

Sorry, one more quick question, I assume with the Dropbox extension, the link the buyer receives during checkout doesn’t show them the direct link to the file in your DropBox account? In fact, the buyer doesn’t even realize that the file is being served to them from DropBox at all I assume?

    Thank you.

    1. Yes you can upload through Dropbox and then import.

    2. Not at this time.

    3. Correct, the link is fully secure and does not make the file open to sharing. Customers are never shown that the file is on Dropbox.
