I should note that this only seems to be a problem with Firefox. I am using version 3.6.16.

Everything seems to be working fine on Chrome and IE.

Update: If you click on my homepage, you will no longer see the Meebo Bar or the problems it was causing because I had to disable the Meebo Bar plug-in since it was messing up the entire home page (which is too embarrassing to keep up).

HOWEVER, if anyone has any idea how to fix the issue, I would love to hear your advice because we certainly want to have the Meebo Bar on our site–we just don’t want it to mess up the display on our homepage!

Hi. This is Chris from Meebo. We have some known issues with our WordPress plug-in. It was conflicting with just a few themes, but after a recent WP update, it seems to have had more problems. We will be getting it fixed as soon as we can. In the mean time, the simplest solution is probably to integrate the bar manually:

    1. Uninstall the WordPress plug-in.

    2. Go to your Meebo dashboard (dashboard.meebo.com).

    3. Click Docs at the top of the screen.

    4. Click ‘Integration Wizard’, and then choose “I host my own blog/site”.

This will display the Meebo embed code, which you can manually add to your bar (via a header file – I think in most themes that’s header.php).

Note that you should probably add the code outside of the <?php> tag to avoid conflicts with reserved characters.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We are working on getting the plug-in fixed soon. If you have questions, please contact me at [email protected]

    That worked! Thanks, Chris.
