Mediocre

  • I am really baffled by the amount of positive reviews.

    For a couple of websites we tried W3 extensively. All websites got better grades on e.g. Pingdom (for SEO stats) but all sites actually were performing worse (customer experiences).

    Moving on to proper products.

    The biggest issue is the loading time of the backend. Customers are experiencing 5 to 10 times the waiting time (+20 seconds) before a page is loaded. Logging in takes a while too. Weve played with object cache to optimize but that did not do a lot.

    Our customers exploit light weight sites, 99% text, no heavy content, CND, so this would not be the problem. Besides that, they are all hosted at a 100% wordpress hoster, the best in Europe, on a VPS.

    We have continued the testing and will let you know some results.

    As I previously said, the support team is here to help you out with your issues. Can you please share your master.php file so we can try to replicate the issue?
