media.net ads do not display now

    This happened after the update to 4.2.3

    Media.net tells me there is no way this can be fixed without changes to the official wordpress version or me directly coding the ad code into my theme. Obviously I do not want to do that.

    Is there an update to fix these issues in the works? Or can it not be fixed?

    I have compared the code live in the site to the original code and the only difference I see is it removes “http:” from web address in code.

    instead of https://www.sitehere.com

    it is //www.sitehere.com

    Not sure if that helps or not.

    It seems this has noting to do with Ad Inserter since it does not change code in any way.

    Can you try using simple text widget to see what happens?

    This is not resolved. My webdesigner says your pluging needs to make changes to work with these new changes in the new version of wordpress.

    I can not reproduce the problem.

    Please provide more data how to reproduce the problem you are experiencing.

    My website is SSl and it’s says it’s serving mixed content for these ads. This is causing them to not display in about 1/2 of all browsers. I don’t know why half of visitors can see the ads and half the visitors can’t.

    But I’m linking to a screen shot my hosting company sent me and said that it would explain the problem and a plugin developer would know what to do to fix the plugin. So, the screenshot is at:

    Until you provide detailed steps to reproduce the problem there is nothing I can do.

    Ad Inserter does not change the code. It inserts it as it is.
