• There is no <media:content> tag in the output in the rss feed. This is needed, as it the only way to manipulate the image within MailChimp and have it appear in a certain place.

    Please can it be added?

Of can you provide a snippet of code so it can be added?

    Many thanks,

    George

This plugin doesn’t use the <media:content> tag for images, since it adds a bit of a layer of complication with building the email (MailChimp, for example, requires *|RSSITEM:IMAGE|* or *|FEEDITEM:IMAGE|* tags to add that image in). This plugin modifies the images in the full content feed and optionally adds the featured/first image to the beginning of the content and/or excerpt in the feed, so they’re automatically added to the emails as part of the content. If the images are not showing, double check your content merge tag: you need *|RSSITEM:CONTENT_FULL|* (*|FEEDITEM:CONTENT_FULL|*) to not get the plain text version of your feed.
