How ever, it doesn’t complete upload and displayed on my webpage.

I installed other plugin( kind of board plugin), it also works and help to upload image and media files.

I am not sure which error appeared first, but I am face to 500 error recently during upload media file.

I am thinking about that delete word-press editor and reinstall it.
Before step on next page, wish to hear your advice and how to reinstall wordpress editor safely.

Internal server errors (error 500) are often caused by plugin or theme function conflicts, so if you have access to your admin panel, try deactivating all plugins. If you don’t have access to your admin panel, try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue. If you don’t have access to your admin panel, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue.

If that does not resolve the issue, it’s possible that a .htaccess rule could be the source of the problem. To check for this, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, and rename the .htaccess file. If you can’t find a .htaccess file, make sure that you have set your SFTP or FTP client to view invisible files.

If you weren’t able to resolve the issue by either resetting your plugins and theme or renaming your .htaccess file, we may be able to help, but we’ll need a more detailed error message. Internal server errors are usually described in more detail in the server error log. If you have access to your server error log, generate the error again, note the date and time, then immediately check your server error log for any errors that occurred during that time period. If you don’t have access to your server error log, ask your hosting provider to look for you.

    Thanks for your advice James.

    – Inactive all plugins
    – change theme to the Twenty Fifteen

    Unfortunately, it doesn’t fixed yet.

Now I am trying to find .htaccess file via my file manager.
What kind of error description do you need?

This issues caused since 2-3days ago.
I though it caused because one of text editor plugin. already delete that plugin,
but dose not resolved anything yet.

James, I found .htaccess file and error log.

    What should I edit

    Moderator James Huff

    (@macmanx)

I’d have to be able to log in to your hosting account to see those (please don’t send that).

I just need the 1 or 2 error log entries at the exact date/time you see the 500 error.

So, reproduce the process to generate the error, note the time, and check the log.

    Thread Starter hoseok han

    (@hoseok-han)

I am trying to generate new error for check
but I can’t find any error message regarding this issue on my error file.
It seems like time set is weird also.

    Moderator James Huff

    (@macmanx)

When you see the 500 error in your browser, there’s no corresponding error recorded to the log at the same time?

    Moderator James Huff

    (@macmanx)

Oh, and the log probably is in UTC time zone.

    Thread Starter hoseok han

    (@hoseok-han)

I am keep trying to make error now.

    Moderator James Huff

    (@macmanx)

If you can’t actually seen the 500 error now, perhaps the issue has passed? ??

    Thread Starter hoseok han

    (@hoseok-han)

    still see 500 error page.

    Thread Starter hoseok han

    (@hoseok-han)

oh. This error is happened when I upload image file via WP editor.

    [dashboard link removed]

    Moderator James Huff

    (@macmanx)

None of that really helps me. I can’t stress enough that I don’t have access to your site, nor do I want it. ??

If the server is configured properly, the real reason behind an Error 500 will be recorded in the error log.

When you see the Error 500 on your screen, check the error log for a corresponding entry.

    (@hoseok-han)

sorry about that I am keep on bothering you.
I can pass you my hosting server admin account informations if you need.

WP editor had been worked well until 2-3days ago.
I have no idea why log does not record completely.
