media uploader sizing incorrect in featured pic

tried uploading multiple sized images, all getting cropped in the rollover thumbnails here: https://www.verveinteriors.com/?page_id=12

we’ve tried all the usual work arounds, changed the settings>media, read thru all the forums relating to this issue. none of which seem to illustrate a problem like mine. the photos we uploaded weeks ago still allow size changes, but if we take one down, & put it back up no size changing ability… if we put a picture that has embellished dimensions it still doesn’t allow it to be resized… we are not looking to resize the image, however our themes thumbnails look the best when we use the full size image as a featured picture. All of our existing featured pictures are larger than the sizes in settings>media.
