Media Uploader Not Working??? Please Help!

  • Hey everyone, my blog is Jowki and I am having some problems with the media uploader in Firefox.

    When I click the ‘Add an Image’ icon, the little popup box opens with the loading bar but the actualy uploading interface doesn’t open. Basically what happens is the loading bar keeps going for about 10 seconds and then Firefox crashes and shuts down.

    However, this is not the case in IE8 and I find that quite hard to believe because in IE8 the media uploader works perfectly. Can anyone help me with this please. I’ve looked around on the forums and found so many solutions but none of them seem to work for me.

  • Did you see the “Gears” related topics? You don’t say specifically,so I thought I would mention it in case you had not tried it yet.

    See if anything here helps… seems to be a lot of that going around.

    Oh thanks alot dude. It worked wooohoo! It’s funny though, it was working fine all these days and then suddenly it stopped working. :S
