Media Uploader in page or post not working WP 3.5.1

  • When adding a image to a page or post the image upload button aint working. Anyone else know of a fix? I have seen threads on various topics and one saying add

    define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false ); in the wp-config file but this aint sorted the issue.

    Another way around it is to use TinyMCE and use the insert image function. that works but it is very cumbersome. Media uploads via the Media Uploader part specifically but not when editing in the page or post.

    Seems there are lots of people experiencing issues but not that many solutions? I have been scratching my head myself but cannot get around the issue. ??

    All was fine before wp 3.5.1 but of course the new media uploader was a big update.

    yeah I already had read that one but didnt find anything that could help other than what I have already tried.

    I wondered if there was a specific bit of code that causes the issue considering so many people faced the problem. that way I could take a closer look ??

    There is no magic bullet in these situations. That list is just the start of basic troubleshooting and is a process of elimination deliberately designed to locate the root cause as quickly as possible by first removing the most obvious and common culprits via a series of (often) temporary steps.
