Media upload & wpml duplicate issues after wordpress 4.5 update

    I’ve updated wordpress to 4.5. And after that I have 2 issues:

    1. Media upload issue – I click “Add new”, choose file and upload it. Page is refreshing but new file isn’t showing up in media files. But it is being uploaded to “uploads” folder, what can be the issue ? Because before update it was working nice!

    2. WPML duplicate function isn’t working after update.

  • 1) Try disabling all your plugins and checking.
    2) Tried contacting WPML forum?

    I have tried to disable all plugins and media issue still exists. Any suggestions ?

    Have you tried contacting WPML?

    For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site.

    As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

    Issues are solved. In WPML settings (WPML->Translation management->Multilingual Content Setup) there was one setting which was preventing media to work properly. I changed it to “Do nothing” with media and now media works.

    And duplicate issue was caused because of some codes in functions.php. By modifying them I made it to work.
