Media Upload Problem

  • Hi,

    I recently installed WP. I’m facing few strange problems like :

    1. When I’m installing any plugins, it stucks at unpacking.. So i need to manually upload it via FTP to install it.

    2. When I’m adding any images, it stucks at crunching for a long time (using multi uploader). Even it it uploads, the file uploaded is lesser in size than the original one. So it becomes unusable.
    When uploading via browser upload, I get “The connection was reset.”

    What may be the cause of the problem?

  • My uploads also are stuck at the crunching part. But only for files bigger the 33mb. And i get these errors in the log file :

    My test files were a few KBs in size… But still got those problems !

    @uddhava – if you need help, please start your own thread – posting in another person’s thread is not helpful and does not help either of you get help.

    @uddhava : Do you have any idea how to solve it as my site is hosted at 000webhost?

    How did u add those exceptions?

    Problem with xml wordpress import too..
