Media Upload, Plugin Update and Delete not working

  • HI,

    I’m using Mac OSX 10.10.5. not able to add new media files I’m getting following error:

    “Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2015/09. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”

    And also not able updated or delete plugins from wordpress dashboard.

    Please help
