• Since the upgrade to the new version, the Media upload DOES NOT WORK any more, either tring to ‘add new’ in the library with drag and drop or with the browser’s built-in file uploader option. It was working perfectly before the upgrade.
Now the upload reaches 100%, then shows ‘HTTP error’, and the image looks as broken in the media library.
I learnt from the support forum that this is a very common issue among users since the last update, so I would kindly ask you to look into this as fix it as soon as possible.
I would rather not start using external FTPs to upload images…
    Many Thanks!

Hi, I’m new to www.remarpro.com. I’m having this exact issue and my hosting company is 1&1 who do not seem to have a way for me to contact them, so I need to try and fix this myself.
I want to try the above fix but I’m so clueless I don’t even know how to action the following:

wp-config.php in your sites main directory via FTP (or cPanel)

Can anyone help me?! Getting desperate. A few image uploads have worked, when I have resized them to be quite small (under 1MB), but even then not all of them are working.

Same issue there. I tested all solutions mentionned above. The only difference I got is (since 4.5.1) that the image generate but need a lot of time to do so. That wasn’t the case before the 4.5 update.

And I don’t speak about 10Mo images, or 8000*8000px pictures in 300dpi, but of 160*240 pictures, less than 30Ko.
