media upload hangs in posts

Thanks for your report. I’d like to rule out an interaction between MLA and Enhanced Media Library Pro. Have you tried enabling MLA and disabling EMLP?

I hope you understand that I can’t afford to purchase Premium plugins to provide MLA support.

Of course, I’d be very interested in knowing what features of EMLP you use that are not available in MLA.

When you write “upload an image through within a post“, do you mean that you are clicking “Add Media…” from the Edit Post/Page screen and then uploading with the Media Manager popup window? I want to make sure I am reproducing your issue as closely as possible.

David, I am Nadia, EML’s author. I made changes to EML so that the problem is resolved now (it appeared because our plugins share some duplicating functionality). For others, who could face same issue, the problem is actual for both free and pro versions of EML. The changes will be available in the next version of EML.

Thanks to both of you. I have installed the patch and it did hang up for a different admin after that, but he logged out and logged back in and it hasn’t happened again, so fingers crossed. I will let you know if any more problems happen with it.
