Media Upload Dates Incorrect

It looks like uploads to the media library are getting put into the folder when this plugin is activated, and the option to organize media into month and year folders is activated.

This happens when uploading files directly to the media library because I think the $_GLOBAL[‘post’] variable is being set by this plugin when it should be empty.

Any insight into this issue?
