Media upload and library display problem since 3.7.1

  • Hi,
    I’ve recently upgraded to WP 3.7.1.
    Since then, when I add a media in a new article, the media library is empty, and when I try to upload a new media, I have an error saying that an error occured in the upload of the media.

    It seems that there is a problem with either the owner of the files or the file permissions, but I can’t change it using my Filezilla.
    Every time I try to change to 755, it doesn’t work.

    How can I solve this problem ?

  • Contact your hosts and ask them to check if you have a folder ownership issue.

    Me too have the same issue..

    I have re-installed WP 3.7.1.

    But still i’m not able to see the images in the media library by clicking “Add media” from the page.

    I checked the file permissions, it was set to rwx-r-xr-x.

    I have uninstalled and deleted the unused plugins too.
    But the issue didnt resolved yet.

    May i know what could cause this issue?

    I actually am my own host, as I have a dedicated server…
    What command and what folder should I change ?

    To further explain the issue :
    The file is well uploaded, and is visible in the media category.
    It appears with permission 660 in my ftp, under another file owner.
    Should chown the entire wordpress to have everything working as previously (so far, I cannot add images and uploading images gives me an error, although the image is well uploaded to the server).
