  • Hello @manrodsan

Please could you share what/any changes you made recently? I checked with the plugin but it seems all okay to me. I’m assuming something else is happening on your site particularly.

Also, is there any error on the console or in the error log that you can share with us? Alternatively, you can check the site theme/plugin conflict if any other plugin or theme causing conflict.

    Thanks

    Hello @thebengalboy

The same here. No error on the console. All other plugins deactivated but no change.

Is there anything more I could do?

    Thanks

In debug mode I get this:

    Hello,

I found a hint on buddypress support, and this seems to work.
After the downgrade the media tab is visible again in groups

I noticed that after updating to Buddypress 10.0.0 there will be no media displayed in my groups anymore. The link also vanshed completely in the submenu of every single group.
So I downgraded to Buddypress 9.1.1 and it worked again.

    Hi @manrodsan @terry789

We were able to reproduce the issue and our team is currently working on it. I’ll drop an update once it’s solved.

    Thanks

    Hi @terry789 & @manrodsan

We have solved the issue already and it’ll be released soon with a new version. Here is the PR you can follow or implement the fixes on your site manually: https://github.com/rtCamp/rtMedia/pull/1825

    I hope this helps.

I still have the same issue for more than 3 weeks now.

After updating to Buddypress 10.0.0 there will be no media displayed in my groups anymore. The link also vanshed completely in the submenu of every single group.
So I downgraded to Buddypress 9.1.1 and it worked again.
But I have to upadate Buddypress because the old Version has issues too.

I am using Gwangi for Buddypress as theme.
Maybe you can fix that asap?

    @werny,

after the last update of rtMedia everything works here again. Even after the latest Buddypress update.

    Buddypress Version 10.1.0

    rtMedia Version 4.6.10

    Wordpress Version: 5.9.1

    Success

I have updated to all of those versions but still have no media in my groups

    I assume you’ve already done this but with me this was suddenly turned off for reasons unclear to me;

rtMedia – Settings – BuddyPress – Enable media in group

    Well sure yes!
I even tried to disable and re-enable it
    But it makes no difference

Are you using a cache plugin or something similar?

    Yes I do.
but also when I disable it, it won’t work

disable may not be the same as actually “clearing” the cache ??

    Hi @werny

Agree with @terry789 You may need to flush/clear the cache. Please try clearing the cache and let us know. I can assure you that we have already solved it and no such kind of issue persists anymore. At least, we did not get any report further after the last release.
