Media suddenly reuploaded

    Hey, maybe I can find some help about my problem here, I am not sure though if the problem is caused by WordPress for sure.

    I am working with a goods economy system which is connected to my wordpress Website (that runs WooCommerce) by an interface.
    When I updated some context data of a couple of goods, half of my product images got reuploaded in media section, even though I unchecked the box ?update images“. This is annoying because they had some preparations which are lost now. I could handle to get the preparations back but I don’t want to have that issue in the future again. If there is a case where the problem is caused by WordPress, what could it be?

    Hi @mojo47 –

    Are you using a plugin to connect to your goods economy system? It sounds like this could be an issue with that connection. I’m not aware of any situations of this happening with the core WooCommerce plugin.
