Media size in feeds

  • Howdy — my feed subscribers have reported an issue since I upgraded to v.5 where the webcomic images come through at full size (3000 x 3000). (Previously I had them set to my site’s Medium size.) I gather I’m supposed to place the Webcomic Media widget in the Webcomic Syndication widget area, and then specify the size, but I’m confused by the formatting instructions in the documentation.

    Specifically, I can’t begin to mentally parse the example “before{{join}}after{size}” or figure out what string I’d enter to use the Medium size.

    Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks!

    Apologies for the trouble, @speechpoet. The full format is a little bizarre, but you really only need to specify a size, like medium. That should be enough to get the correct size showing up in the widget (the before{{join}}after{size} format is for if you want to do fancier things that require a specific output format).
