Media Settings

  • I’ve recently had to reload a backup of my website and have returned to find that my media settings are screwed up. I had things set so that the uploads directory would be routed to a subdomain to try and aid a faster loading time.

    (Example, default is wp-content/uploads, but the link would show https://assets.domain.com/2011/04/image.jpg)

    Except that it no longer works, but instead draws up a 500 error. I’ve tried everything I can think of to no avail and I don’t want to lose so much hard work by having to re-install a fresh copy of wordpress. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks. ??
