Media search does not work

Got the same problem, using Types to create my custom taxonomy for the media.
Did you find a workaround?

first of all @tadaki1989, sorry for this very late reply.

Media attachments usually have the post status “inherit”. The light version searched only for posts with the status “publish”. In order to search also for media, I’ve extended the recent development version to search either publish or inherit.

Now I’ll look for a way to hide all my random images and only display pdfs and other files.
