I’m trying to use the media replace feature to replace a logo. The original logo has “CVE Verified” at the bottom, the replacement logo has only “CVE” at the bottom. Caching is disabled on my site. when I perform the replacement, it just adds the new logo at the top of my media files list. It doesn’t replace the existing one. I have done a hard refresh in my browser, and checked an incognito window to make sure it’s not a browser caching issue. Is there some trick to getting this to work? Here’s a video of the steps I’m taking: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1amU4lxoIU-hczBMR7gSOPj6_myS_gJzn/view?usp=drivesdk

    Am I doing something wrong?

@socialsparkmedia thank you for reporting the issue. Please use the list view of the Media Library and click the “Edit or Replace” link under the media file you want to replace, and use the Edit screen’s Media Replace meta box there.

The Media Replace metabox in the grid view was meant for the Pro version of ASE I am building, and I forgot to completely disable it in the free fersion, which I’ll do in the next release.

@socialsparkmedia I’m revisiting ASE’s old(er) support threads to appreciate the feedback you’ve given in improving ASE with a sneak peak of, and discount code you can get for the soon-to-be-released Pro version of ASE.

If you’re interested, please contact me at https://bowo.io so I can send you the link to the website and the discount code.
