    Hi,

First off, your plugin works really well.

I ran across an issue that hopefully will be a quick fix. I have a plugin called “Enable Media Replace” to reupload images that I’ve tweaked, etc. When I replace an image, the Retina version of the image does not display on the iPad or iPhone. I have hit generate next to the file in the Media Library, but that doesn’t seem to solve the problem.

    Any tips to fix that?

    Thanks!

I figured out what the conflict was. There are 2 options with that Media Replace plugin: “Just replace the file” and “Replace the file, use new file name and update all links”. Choosing the first option causes the problem. Going back in and re-uploading the new file choosing the second option allows everything to work as it should.

    Again, great plugin.

Hi! Actually the plugin used to work with Media Replace and add a Replace button if it is installed.

However, I didn’t really like how the plugin was coded and I think it was inconvenient to replace images (too many clicks). Actually, the replace function is integrated in the retina plugin itself.

Try going in the retina dashboard and you will see that you can drag and drop image directly on the previous image to replace them. It sounds like magic but it actually works ?? Please try! And also please rate the plugin when you have some time ??
