Media->Perfect images page is empty

    On all my sites, page Media->Perfect images is now empty. It flashes for a moment, and then disappears (<div id=”wr2x-dashboard”> is empty).

    It says error is in:

    /wp-retina-2x-pro/app/vendor.js

    and this:

    TypeError: Failed to execute ‘unobserve’ on ‘ResizeObserver’: parameter 1 is not of type ‘Element’.

    Any ideas how to fix this?

    Edit: I’ve checked the plugin versions. On 6.2.9. all is ok, but 6.3.1. has this error. Harder to tell if that’s the reason now that plugins can update automatically, but it seems that it is.

  • I had exactly the same issue with the pro version of the plugin. As it turned out the auto-update didn’t work and the plugin was stuck on version 6.2.4. Once I manually downloaded the current version 6.4.2 from the vendor site and updated the plugin through FTP the issue was gone.

    The exact same thing happened again on another site. I’m so glad I posted my solution four weeks ago.

    For SEO, here are the error messages I got this time:

    • TypeError: ResizeObserver.unobserve: Argument 1 is not an object. in react-dom.min.js
    • Uncaught TypeError: ResizeObserver.unobserve: Argument 1 is not an object. in vendor.js

    We do use latest version now, and Media->Perfect images page now works fine, but just so you know, Meow apps->Dashboard page is now empty ?? (no js errors)
