Media not transferring

  • I’m exporting a site from an old wordpress.com site and I tried to import it into my self hosted site, but everything isn’t transferring over. So I tried to import it a second time and some media gave the report “already exists” and others “failed to import”. So I went back to export the media only and I downloaded a .tar file. I tried to import it to the new site and it is giving me the error below because it is not an wxr file, it is a .tar file. Why isn’t everything transferring over? How do I import the media to this website?
