Media Not Showing WordPress Image on LinkedIn

@judgerookie yes, but every time i go to add my link, it shows it with a blank image. here’s a screenshot: https://imgur.com/Efrwqkb.

@sterndata i downloaded yoast, but it made no difference and i don’t see an area for setting default photos for socials. i also set a featured image for my home and about pages, but there’s still no change to my linkedin page.

Even though it’s on the facebook tab, this sets the default opengraph image:

I believe that’s only for premium, which I don’t have and I honestly don’t have an interest in getting a premium plugin since I don’t need SEO features otherwise.

Is there another way to have a featured image show up on my LinkedIn other than using Yoast?

No, that image is from my own website which does not use the premium Yoast plugin.

@sterndata regardless, it’s not showing for me. there is no tab that shows any info about social media for me.

i already have the jetpack social media plugin. is there a way that i can alter that to show up on my linkedin instead? clearly the yoast plugin isn’t working right for me (maybe it’s something with my theme).

With respect to Yoast, you need to enable the ‘advanced setting’ option on the “features” tab of its dashboard page.

OK, I activated the advanced settings, input my image URL in Facebook, and still no image is appearing on LinkedIn. Also, every code had a ton of errors and wouldn’t work for me.

Linked in should be using this image:
