• Hi
First of all, thanks for providing this module.
Background – I was using Ultimate Taxonomy and decided to update to Ultimate CMS, but only for the taxonomy module.

Now the Media manager will not insert pictures into a post. i.e. The Add Media button works, you can then upload an image and change image properties, but when you click “Insert Into post” the nothing is added to the post.

If I disable Ultimate CMS it goes back to working fine. I’ve tried disabling all plugins and this is the only one that causes the problem.

I haven’t included a link to the site as you can’t see the problem on the frontend anyway.

So, is there any more info I can give you to try to find what the problem is?

    Thanks
    Tim

    Hey Tim,

Could you please check if there were any javascript issues?
Moreover it would be great if you could provide the versions of WP and WP ultimate CMS you were using.

    Regards,
    Xydac

I have the same issues. The image custom field of taxonomy cause the problem.
After I added the image field, It got this javascript error when try to insert the image to the post

“Uncaught RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded.”

I removed the image field, then it works,

    Website info:
    – WordPress 3.6.1
    – Ultimate CMS 1.0.8

    Thanks,
    Khoa

    Hi,

Sorry it’s taken a while to reply. Thanks for your help ynhat. It seems like the same thing for me. If you add a custom image field to a taxonomy this causes the problem.

I’m not sure how to see the javascript error, though I suspect it’s the same as ynhat’s. If I try to recreate the error in with the Firebug Error console showing, the browser locks up.

So in summary, to recreate the error, create a custom taxonomy with an image field associated with it. Then try to add an image to the main area of a post.

Hope you can fix this as I do want to ad images to my taxonomies, although I guess I can work around it by adding a text field instead with the image URL in.
