Media missing after reinstall

    I re-installed WP in the very same directory after my database was wiped and recovered. All of my content is there but my media library is empty. How do I communicate that all the original media is in the folder on the server?

    Also any images I have inserted directly into posts are appearing fine but all the images I inserted into posts using the gallery feature are missing. Does anyone know how to recover or relink that information?
