Media Manager Not Working Since Upgrade

  • I upgraded to 3.5.1 today and now have several issues.

    1 – If I click on Media Manager, nothing happens.

    2 – If I click to insert a link nothing happens.

    3 – If I click on text to check the code, nothing happens.

    I too have deactivated all plug ins and it made no difference. What is the next step here?

  • If you have HONESTLY deactivated all of your plugins… AND manually emptied your browser cache….

    … These two steps are very important…

    .. then the next thing I would do is switch the theme back to the default TwentyTwelve theme… manually empty the browser cache.. and try again.

    Basically… IF:

    1. You deactivate all plugins
    2. You switch to the default twentytwelve theme
    3. You manually empty and clear your browser cache

    … and you are still unable to upload… then the problem extends beyond WP, which is very unlikely.

    As it addresses a variety of javascript issues, which sounds exactly like what you are experiencing.

    Okay, missed the dumping the cache. I’ll try again.

    I have not switched to the default theme. But I’ll dump the cache first.
