• Hi,

Users that are not administrators, like editors and authors, cant access more than round 39 itmes when inserting media into a post through the new media manager in version 3.5.1

It seems that the ajax auto “load more function” when scrolling down the window view, denies access for other users than administrators.

When logged in as Administrator, everything works fine.
When deactiviating this plugin, everything works fine.

I also re-saved permalink, updated posts and mediafiles.
Select “No” and “Yes” all files will locked settings.

The only thing I can think of is this:

Note: If you activate this option the plugin will overwrite a ‘.htaccess’ file at the upload folder…

I cant find any created .htaccess in the upload folder tree or any root, created by the plugin.

    BTW :

This is a simple and easy to understand role scope plugin, does not clutter the view for customers to much and is a good choice before stepping up into a more complex system.

The advantage is the avabililty to scope the media and the only thing I miss is a dropdown sort by users in media manager or library view.

Very logic chosen functionality. Thanks for this babe!

Tracked down a little bit more :

as soon a single attachment is assigned to a group, and all other roles, that is not the owner, sg Author, of the attachment, cant load images from the media manager insert to post, more then the first 39 loaded…

    Puh,

Must be a htaccess rule, created by the plugin, thats not correct.

Please take a look, this plugin is the only working access manager for my projects compared to all other like, role scoper, advanced, s2m, etc etc
