Media library using large images for grid view
-
Hi,
On my WordPress installation, when I’m in the media library, and I’m using list view, the thumbnails that show up are generally the smallest ones available. This is ideal because I’m loading a lot of images on a page.
However, when I am in grid view, WordPress seems to be using larger images. Sometimes it uses the large image, and sometimes it uses the full size image. This is a problem because the page takes forever to load and can even crash my browser.
This also makes it impossible for me to use the gallery when inserting media, because this only allows grid view.
I would like grid view to actually use thumbnails. If this isn’t possible, I would like to, at the very least, be able to change to list view when inserting media from my library. Is this possible?
