Media Library refuses to upload files

  • Hi,

    When I try and upload a JPG via the media library, it keeps giving an error of Error saving media attachment.

    I have the permissions for the upload folder set to 775, I’ve tried various files and types and still it throws the error.

    Fixed it!

    It turned out the WP had an address from before I upgraded my hosting, I was able to resolve this by going into the admin panel, settings, miscellanous.

    Had the same problem. Thanks for following up with your solution, it saved me a lot of time.
