Media Library Problem

Hi,

this is my first post here and I hope somebody can help me with this issue.

I’ve been getting the message “media library full” for a couple of days now and can only upload new images after deleting old ones. However, I have just some PNG files online (less than 25) and more than enough space with my webspace provider.

I do not run a multi-site network. Nor do I have any highly exotic plugins installed.

I need to upload way more images though. I’ve been unable to find a proper fix for this researching by myself (only found help for multi site networks).

Any advice is greatly appreciated!
