Media Library previews don’t get updated when images get replaced

  • I’ve recently replaced some SVGs I had previously uploaded by deleting them in the media uploader and uploading new files with the same filenames. Oddly, the previews in the media uploader continue to show the old SVG images. The new SVGs output on the front-end correctly. I’m on a local installation without any caching plugins enabled.

    Hi @brad2dabone,

    I would say that it sounds like your browser has cached the old SVGs based upon their name. Does it do the same if you clear your browser cache or open the media library in an incognito window?
