Media library not working

Thanks for your report/question. I want to make sure I understand what you mean.

You wrote ‘“Upload files” tab is working.‘ I understand that to mean you are using the Media/Add New (Upload New Media) admin submenu. Is that right?

You wrote ‘“Media library” tab not working while upload files.‘ I understand that to mean that you navigate to the Media/Library admin submenu, select the “grid” view and then drag and drop a file on the screen to upload it. Is that right? If so, I just re-tested this on my system and it is working for me. If it is not working for you, try disabling the MLA enhancements to this screen and see if that helps:

1. Navigate to the Settings/Media Library Assistant General tab.
2. Scroll down to the “Media Manager/Media Grid Enhancements” section.
3. Uncheck the box next to “Enable Media Grid Enhancements”.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click “Save Changes” to record your new setting.

You can also uncheck the “Enable Media Manager Enhancements” if you are having trouble with the “Add Media” popup window.

I am not sure what you mean by “Is any setting to select media from WP’s Media library.” MLA provides the [mla_gallery] shortcode for displaying a gallery of Media Library items on “front end” posts/pages. If that is what you want you can find information and examples in the Settings/Media library Assistant Documentation tab. If you mean something else any additional information you can provide would help me be more specific.
