After installing Smush and optimizing images, I noticed that the Media Library list of images was not functioning properly – and only showed one image in the library (was showing 72 images before).

After I deactivated the Smush plugin, the Media Library listing returned to normal, showing all the images. I confirmed that after activating the Smush plugin, the Media Library listings again disappeared. Then I deactivated the Smush plugin again and the Medial Library listings again reappeared.

Seems to be a conflict with the Smush plugin and Media Library in this scenario — no other changes other than activating and deactivating Smush plugin and checking the Media Library.

I have screenshots that I can share with you, showing the problem.

    Hi @sgb02,

This probably means there’s a conflict with either your theme or some other plugin installed on your site.

Can you please perform a conflict test by disabling your other plugins and switching to default WP theme so we can see if this indeed the case?
This should help us with pinpointing the cause so we can debug it further.

    Cheers,

Apparently it was interfering with WP Offload plugin, so I updated to the latest version of Smush (which indicated a fix for conflicts with WP Offload). Problem seems to be resolved.
