Media Library Minimum Crop Size

    I’m using the latest version of wordpress, 3.5.1.

    I noticed that there seems to be a minimum allowable crop size. When I try to crop an image, if the size of the crop becomes too small, the crop icon gets grayed out – not allowing me to save the crop.

    Is there a definition somewhere to the minimum allowable crop size of an image?

    What would define the allowable dimensions of a cropped image?
