    Hello,
I ask how to handle this warning (free NGFB version)

Media Library image ID 1828 ignored — the resulting image of 683×500 is too small for the required Google / Schema Markup Image (700×500 cropped) image dimensions. The Select Media tab in the Social Settings metabox can be used to select a larger image specifically for social / SEO purposes.

The image I upload is at least 1000pix wide.

    Thanks

It looks like you may not have administrator privileges? If you did, you would get additional information about adjusting the image dimensions settings, enabling image upscaling, disabling image dimension checks, and even defining a constant to hide all warnings by default.

Have you read the Setup Guide? There’s a good section in there about the difference between cropped and uncropped image dimensions.

“Media Library image ID 1828 ignored — the resulting image of 683×500 is too small for the required Google / Schema Markup Image (1000×400 cropped) image dimensions. “

    I don’t know where ‘683×500’ comes from
If I change ‘1000×400’ by ‘683×500’ the warning is

“Media Library image ID 1828 ignored — the resulting image of 683×500 is smaller than the minimum 696×0 allowed by the Google”

About other presented options the only in free version I am able to do is to kill the messenger: “Define the NGFB_HIDE_ALL_WARNINGS constant as true to auto-hide all dismissable warnings.”

    Is it the trick?

    Thanks,

You can change image dimensions under the Settings -> Social and SEO Image Dimensions page. Google Schema needs an image that’s at least 696px wide. If you’re using an uncropped dimension, then the width and height are the upper bounds limiting the dimension, and the image will be resized to fit within those boundaries. You should upload a larger image, or define small image dimensions, but for Google Schema, the resized image must be 696px or wider.

Please read carefully both my previous posts.
I always upload at least 1000pix wide
In this example it was 1000×732

I have the same problem. it’s getting the 600×315 version. It adds the wrong dimensions on the link of my image url. but the original image i have set is 3264×1836. If there is an open ticket for this, can I have the link so I can follow the fix? Please help!

Please copy-paste the exact error message, and a link to the post / page with an issue.

    Thanks,
