Media Library Grid View Broken After 5.8 Update

    Hello –

    Curious to know if anyone else has discovered this issue where the “Grid” view is not showing everything in the Media Library, but List View is?

    I’ve checked a couple of sites and finding the issue on all 3, just wondering if it’s worth submitting the issue.

  • Are you running any plugins that interact with the media library? There were changes to the way the grid works, and if there’s a plug-in conflict that would be important to identify.

    I was just checking this to make sure and sure enough, the theme being used allows for Media Categories, and disabling it shows the rest of the images.

    Good to know! I assume it’s a commercial theme, since that’s not the type of feature that generally exists in www.remarpro.com themes; but can you tell me what the theme is, for research purposes?

    It is a theme purchased on Themeforest called Impreza.

    After further investigation, it turns out that it is a bug in the WP Bakery Page Builder and not the theme. Figured I’d let you know.

    Had the same issue this morning after running Impreza and WP BakeryBuilder updates. I trust a fix will come soon as having to work around using List option which is not so convenient. Make a lot of use of media categories so disabling this not really an option.

    Putting finishing touches to a site due to launch on 1st August so bit of a bummer!
