Media library failing to load in grid mode

    The media library grid view fails to load with the plugin activated. List mode will load, but I’m prevented from easily grabbing a media library image from posts — instead having to access the library from the dashboard in list mode.

    Fails on ET’s “Divi” theme and Twenty Seventeen. I’ve deactivated all other plugins — still no-go.

    Hi there,

    That’s strange, I am using it currently with divi on a bunch of sites…

    Can you check your console for any errors please?

    Very strange. I don’t see any errors.

    There is this in the wp-admin/error_log:

    PHP Warning: simplexml_load_file(): ^ in /home/ … /content/plugins/svg-support/functions/attachment-modal.php on line 34

    PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function attributes() on boolean in /home/ … /wp-content/plugins/svg-support/functions/attachment-modal.php on line 35

    But I don’t know if it’s related.

    … and the loading icon keeps spinning.

    Hi,

    Thanks for letting me know.
    This issue has actually been reported and will be fixed in the next update. I have not been able to reproduce the issue but based on the errors, I believe I can fix it.

    I will aim to have the next release ready during April as there is a few things to do and I am recovering from a bad accident.

    I believe this is fixed in version 2.3.7 so I will mark as resolved.
