    Hi there @sannehelsing,

That definitely shouldn’t happen and has never happened before.

Please reach out via our contact form (octify.io/contact) and the team will take a look at what’s happened here.

Technically it is impossible that the images aren’t there. As images are overwritten which require the correct permission. If the correct folder permissions aren’t set then the plugin cannot delete or modify images. Plus the re-write of the image only happens on the post back request.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the quick reply.
Just now the media files were back – not compressed – and the status for Octify changed to: “We’re currently processing your images…” the message before was: “There are no files….” It started with the notice that there is 166 files to compress. I will now wait and see or else contact to recording to the above…

Can I work on the page meanwhile?

    Hi there @sannehelsing,

Could you let us know the domain please? We can then take a look at the API side to check what’s happening.

    Thanks!

    Hi there @sannehelsing,

Sorry, missed the last past. Yes you’re safe to work on the page in the meanwhile.

    Thanks!

Did you get my login information?

    Hi @sannehelsing,

Thanks for sending over the info. We’ve taken a look and the problem is caused by your Under Construction plugin.

While the images will send to the API, the under construction plugin is blocking the ajax request on returning the images, resulting in the compressed images never being returned.

In this case I would recommend compressing once the site is ready and the under construction plugin can be deactivated.

Thank you so much ?? I look forward trying your plugin then…
