Media library empty though media are displayed on blog

  • Hi,

    Maybe someone could help me with this. I exported a wordpress blog a while ago, in XML. I imported the posts in a new WordPress blog and manually moved the uploaded media in its correct new position >wp-content>uploads.

    All photos are correctly displayed on the blog. They are not hot-linked : clicking on them shows the correct URL path to the uploads file.

    The problem is that nothing appears in the media library (and yes, I did click on the “update” button in the media library panel.
