Media library doesn’t work in WP multisite

  • I’m in the process of setting up this multisite. The main page https://mashaholl.russiannotes.com had no issues. But for the page I’m working on, I’ve been unable to load images (to upload a header image specifically).

    I have been looking into solutions and I have checked and tried the fixes with:
    – directory permissions
    – theme issues
    – plugin conflicts
    – size issues
    – problems with the image itself

    The image is uploaded to the server, and can be seen to “edit”, but not otherwise (I get a blank square or a broken image icon).

    I’m hosted on GoDaddy.

    Any more suggestions? thank you!

    I took a look at the linked page, but I didn’t see any img tag at all in any the homepage or in any inner page.

    But for the page I’m working on, I’ve been unable to load images (to upload a header image specifically).

    Kindly insert an image into a POST or PAGE and let’s see what happens.

    The goal is to try to isolate the root of the problem: is this an issue with the theme’s header image feature, or is it WordPress/Multisite media library issue?
