Media Library Completely Blank After Updating to WP 5.5

    Hi All.

    After updating to WP 5.5, the media library in the dashboard has become invisible even though all the images are still there and shows up on the website (other than a picture slider that’s also missing but I think the other problem may be related to this one).     I have already tried clearing the site cache and temporarily switching themes but neither fixed the issue. Does anyone know what is causing this and is there an easy fix? Thanks.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    Thanks. I have found the culprit, which is the plugin WP Favorite Posts. I have posted in the plugin forum about this. Apparently, it’s having other problems with compatibility with 5.5.
