Media Library can't load image

  • Good morning all.
    I have a problema appeared 2 weeks ago that i can’t figure out.

    I realize the problem while i was writing a new post. I pressed the add media button, loaded my image and push on “add to post”.
    Nothing happened.
    I’ve tried again but the only image i could see in the media library was the last loaded. However the “add to post” button didn’t work anyway.

    I’ve tried to go to “Media>library” and wordpress continue loading images without showing any image.
    All the media in the website are working properly, but i can’t see it in the library and manage it.

    The only way i have to add an image to a post o to a page is to upload it, copy the url and then insert directly the url in the post.

    I worked with the hosting because i’ve transfered the website some weeks ago but at the end of an entire day this is their answer:

    Alternatively, you could restore your website through cPanel –> Files/MySQL Backup Restore.

    Furthermore, you could order our team to perform the restore through User Area –> Support –> Open a Support Ticket –> Development Service –> Backup Restore.

    If i restore a backup i lost last 2 weeks of post, and before doing any other things i try to ask you if someone know what this could be.

  • I never faced such issue but it could be due to server settings or permissions issue. If it was working with previous host, there should be some settings which might be preventing to insert images directly from media.

    The problem is that i’ve asked directly to the host, and at the beginning it worked all well.

    I’ve tryed also a database backup at a date that all worked but it didn’t sort any results.

    I really can’t understand what is happening.
    Another thing that i noticed is that when i update a plugin i can’t see the updating page, it remains a blank page. I need to manually insert again the https://www.site.com/wp-admin and then i can see the plugin updated!!!!
