    Hello,
I can’t add files or folders to the library. When I try nothing happens.
Everyone worked fine until I installed wp-db-backup and wp-dbmanager(i guess this is the reason). I unistalled it but library still not working.
When connected by ftp to the server I could’t even create a folder in ‘uploads’ so I thought it might be a cause. I contacted the server administrator and he changed my permission to the folders. Now i can create folders using ftp connection but library doesn’t work.
Funny thing. Before contacting administrator chmod to the folders were 755 so it should work but it didn’t. Now chmod is still 755.
Is there any option to renew library connection to the ftp(without deleting existing folders/files) , or specify username/password?

I tried to create debug log but nothing creates.
I defined username/password to wp-config file but with no result.

    Please help ; )

For creating folders, if you can create folders through FTP then you can have MLP look for them by going to Media Library+ -> Add New Folders (in the dashboard menu). Also you can try the new Sync function by first navigating to the parent folder and clicking the Sync button.

But the bigger issue here may be that those plugin may have modified the database. If you have a recent backup, you could try restoring it.

I restored database. Now almost everything works. Almost … I can create folders but only when I have set to chmod 777. When I create a folder by built-in tool there is no such problem. Everything works with the setting 755. I tested it on the other server and everything works with 755 even medialibrary+. What should I change to make this work?

Perhaps the other tools are changing the folder permissions when they create a new folder. I could add code to try to do the same. I’ll let you know when we have a release that includes this.

Server administrator changed chmods to 775 for folders and 664 for files and for now it’s working. He also placed me in the group.
The thing is earlier i get root permission on ftp user but not on www-data user. Now we’re both in same group. Maybe it depends on hosting. Anyway, wordpress itself doesn’t need 775/664 (needs only 755/644) but ML+ need it.
    Thanks for everything!
