Media library and images not posting

  • Hi,

    I’m having a hell of a time trying to load images onto my web site. Up until recently, all images I loaded were displayed in the media library and on the web site.

    Now, when I upload a new image, nothing is displayed although it tells me that it is there in the library but no image preview is displayed. However, when I click on edit, the image then displays. But after editing, the image will not display in the library or on the website.

    All of my old images have a File URL saying https://www.werriboardriders.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/CARVE_LOGO_LONG_WHT_WEB.jpg

    Now, whenever I load a new image into the library the file URL says https://2014/06/Pentair-e1403571343587.png

    I believe the change in file URL locations is the cause of my missing images. Can anyone tell me why this has occurred? It seemed to happen immediately after updating wordpress or plugins.

  • Since this part of the url is missing: “www.werriboardriders.com.au/wp-content/uploads/” it makes me think that this is a hosting issue. Have you tried contacting your hosting provider?
