media issues with 4.1

  • I did the update to 4.1 and my site has been crazy! when I go to edit a page I cannot add media when I press the button nothing will pop up. I cannot highlight text and make a link either, the button will not respond. I am going crazy. I know my media files are there. I can see them. But even if I go to the media library there are not even any thumnails. Please help I do not know what is going on here and it is making me crazy.
    Someone said permissions, but nothing has really changed except for the update!!

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
