• Hello,

    Two Issues:

WordPress Media is not recognizing files uploaded through cPanel or FTP. File and Folder Permissions are correct.

Also, previously uploaded files are not being displayed, just placeholders are shown. When you click on the image, it does not show the image; however, it does show all the details.

    Thanks

Hello @janetbullard01, not sure if you mean Media Sync or Media Library (WordPress native/default), but I guess Media Sync (this plugin). So in that case, for the first issue, you need to make sure files are uploaded to the right folder. You can see which folder it’s used if you open Settings -> Media Sync (from the main sidebar menu).

For the second issue, I guess you mean files previously uploaded through Media Library (or something other than this plugin). So I must point out that this plugin will not try to list those files (that would be reading from the database). It will instead just list files based on what’s in the uploads folder. And only as an additional helper, it will try to show if a file is already in Media Library.
And I’m not sure what you mean by placeholder or where do you click, but I hope that previous explanation will help.

    Hope it makes sense.

If you’re still not sure how it works, please be careful and try it out with one file first. And of course, just let me know and I’ll try to clarify.

    Good luck ??

    Erol
