Media Grid Filter change from url

    Hey,
    I am using media grid to display my work. I want to select the filter category when i enter the page. For example if i come from home page it activates category 1, if i come from about page it opens category 2. So probably something like the url must be for every category.

    How can i do it for the filters.

    Actually, there’s no direct way in the widget to filter categories based on the page you’re coming from, but could you please check this topic and let me know if it helped?

    I tried again and its work fine.
    I don’t know what mistake I made on the first try. But i don’t care, because finally its good.
    I specify that it also works for Premium blog filter ! Amazing !

    Be sure to check if it only changes the filter or, the media items aswell. For me the filter changes, but the content/images under it remains same from the firt one.

    For me both changes category and related content.
    I tested for Media Grid and for Blog. And there is no problem in both cases.
    Check if your images are well related to your category in the plugin.

    @toniko33 For some reason, with my plugin, it only changes category, not the related content. It works fine normally when i change the categories through filter. Bt when i go through URL, it doesnt seem to change the related content.

    If i understand what you explain (sorry my english understanding is not great).
    When you select a category in normal way, the related content/images displays correctly.
    But when you try to display the category with URL, the related content not appears.
    In this case, I don’t understand where it could come from.
    Maybe try to clear the cache and try again.

    @toniko33 Yes you understood it correctly. I tried the cache. Not working. Looking into it. Hopefully i will be able to solve it somehow.
